Benefits

Students who complete this course will be able to convert existing OS/VS COBOL programs to COBOL II, and develop new programs using the new features of the language supported by COBOL II. In addition, students will acquire facility with the COBOL II compiler.

 

Audience

Experienced COBOL programmers who are converting applications from an OS/VS COBOL environment to a COBOL II environment.

Prerequisites

The student should have experience coding COBOL programs and should be able to code JCL to run simple batch jobs.
