DB2 Stored Procedures - Course Objectives

On successful completion of this course, the student, with the aid of the appropriate reference materials, should be able to:

  1. Develop and use DB2 Stored Procedures that access and update DB2 tables.

  2. Utilize result sets returned from DB2 stored procedures.

  3. Understand and use the parameters associated with defining DB2 stored procedures.

  4. Install, test, and debug DB2 stored procedures.

  5. Use Dynamic SQL in stored procedures.

  6. Use ODBC to access DB2 tables in stored procedures, and to call DB2 stored procedures.

  7. Develop DB2 stored procedures in REXX.
