On successful completion of this course, the student, with the aid of the appropriate reference materials, should be able to:

1. Define the basic constructs and concepts of relational databases
   
2. Describe the fundamental data objects of DB2
   
3. Code SQL statements to access and update DB2 tables
   
4. Execute SQL statements using QMF
   
5. Understand and use the basic QMF commands
   
6. Understand and use QMF forms to format reports
   
7. Understand and use QMF procedures and variables.
