swamped to keep current in this fast changing business
Then management calls legacy systems "inflexible"!
Staff learns how to accomplish work more efficiently and effectively
Developers can use the latest available technology, probably saving money, certainly producing applications that are more in tune with current trends
Morale and productivity may increase significantly - your best people are the ones looking for new ways to do things; spending time and money on training sends a strong message on your belief in your people
A well-organized class can, in the space of a few days, provide answers, insights, and skills that each person would have to search on their own to find (duplicating the learning effort over much more time for each person - not very cost effective!)
Classes can be tailored to teach local procedures and practices: everyone learns the way your installation has established as best for you
