This course explains how OTMA and IMS Connect work, how to set it up and how to change the working via exits.

Audience

IMS system programmers who are responsible for the TCP/IP Attachment to IMS.

Prerequisites

The student should already posses an understanding of IMS systems programming concepts, familiarity with the IMS environment (online, batch, and database utilities), working knowledge of their installation's IMS system, some background in the administration of the IMS system, familiarity with z/OS or MVS control programs. The student should also be able to understand assembly language.
