Java is an object oriented programming language that has become a staple of Information Technology systems rapidly. This rapid growth is due to Java's ease of use, portability, stability, and security.
Our courses teach the basics of Java, using AWT and Swing to create GUI Applications/Applets, Multi-Threading, I/O, JDBC, and Oracle Java Stored Procedures.
The course "Java Overview for Programmers and Managers" introduces managers and developers to Java concepts and facilities.
In the course "Java Server-Side Programming I", experienced programmers are introduced to Java. Participants will create, test, and deploy Java applications servlets, and JSPs.
In the course "Java Server-Side Programming II", participants create, test, and deploy Java servlets, JSPs, and Java Beans. Exercises include using file I/O, JDBC, XML, threads, URL connections, and three-tier (MVC) design pattern.
The course "Java Essentials for C/C++ Programmers" teaches experienced C or C++ programmers the Java language. Participants will create, test, and deploy Java stand-alone applications and applets. C or C++ Experience is required for this course.
The course "Visual Age Java Programming" teaches Java programmers to use VisualAge Java to create and/or maintain programs. Both client-side and server-side programming are covered.
The course "Using JDBC" instructs Java programmers on how to use JDBC to work with relational database data in Java programs.
The course "Java Servlets and JSP programming" teaches Java programmers to use create and deploy Servlets and Java Server Pages (JSPs).
The course "GUI Applets with AWT and Swing" introduces Java programmers to AWT and Swing for creating Graphical User Interfaces for stand-alone applications or applets.
The course "WebSphere Studio Application Developer" provides the WAS developer with an understanding of the Eclipse workbench and related tools for developing Java applications for WebSphere.
