VisualAge PL/I Differences - Course Objectives

On successful completion of this class, the student, with the aid of the appropriate reference materials, should be able to:

1. Describe the basic elements of the PL/I language that are different among the OS PL/I compiler, the PL/I for MVS & VM
    compiler, and the VisualAge PL/I for OS/390 compiler

2. Understand the benefits and implications of using the VisualAge PL/I compiler

3. Develop applications using the VisualAge PL/I compiler for execution on the mainframe.
