Recent work
As a trainer since 1982, and self-employed since 1989, John has been involved in many projects, including:
- Writing course materials to be used by other instructors in the business
- Providing training to both technical and marketing personnel from companies in the IS industry, such as Storage Technology Corp., and Oracle Corp.
- Helping companies like St. Paul Companies in St. Paul, Minnesota train entry-level programmers
- Making presentations at training and technical conferences, such as Oracle conferences in the US and Europe
- Teaching classes for companies such as American Express in Phoenix, AZ and other locations, Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek, CA and other locations, and Great West Life in Englewood, CO.
- John has primary course development responsibilities for courses in these areas:
* Oracle
* CICS
* C, C++, JAVA
* Client / server technologies .

CIBER, Inc.. Consultant, programmer, project leader for a variety of customers in diverse industries such as banking and wholesale.
