Benefits of RCT (Remote Contact Training)

Small class size

The class size for a Remote Contact Training class is effectively ONE

Scheduling flexibility

The student (along with his or her manager) determines when to start the course, and when to take the course (business hours, on company site, or not)

Student paced

Although there is an ultimate deadline, the student can direct the pace of the course, studying or working labs in large chunks or small increments, at his or her own natural learning speed

Instructor-assisted

Unlike most self-study programs, this one does not leave the student with no place to take questions or ask for help; one of our experienced instructors is there, via telephone, email, or other communication means, to help

Hands-on Experience

All of the classes we teach using RCT involve labs; the student will actually run exercises on their own IBM mainframe; nothing like actually doing the work with lab data before doing the work on real data

Also, each student's lab work is explicitly evaluated by the instructor, possibly resulting in more personal feedback than in a large classroom environment

Just-In-Time Training

Because each student enrolls when they have a need for the content in their work, RCT provides the benefits of "Just-In-Time Training", primarily by providing the information and skills needed at work just when they are needed
