Your Toolkit - Installing

After your receive your toolkit, you go through a straighforward installation process:

• If self-extracting zip on your workstation, unzip
• If unzipped file on your workstation, upload to z/OS in binary
• On z/OS issue TSO RECEIVE command to produce TOOLKIT.LIBRARY
• Run an exec in TOOLKIT.LIBRARY to unfold other data sets in the toolkit
• Make final modifications (may not need any)
• Run Installation Verification Procedures to test

Then you're good to go.

Note that every toolkit comes with a User's Guide that gives full instructions on how to install, tailor, verify, and use the toolkit.
