XML (eXtensible Markup Language) has quickly become the industry choice for transferring data from one system to another. XML's wide acceptance and simplicity make it a tool that can be built upon for years to come. The XML world is changing rapidly. We will be continually adding, changing, and removing courses as industry practices evolve.
Our courses teach students to use XML to create functional, exciting, and effective web applications.
- The course "XML Overview" introduces managers and developers to XML concepts and facilities.
- The course "Introduction to XML" introduces experienced programmers to the basics of XML, XSL, XSLT, Schemas, and DTDs.
- The course "XML and Java Programming" teaches experienced Java programers XML and XSLT.
- The course Enterprise COBOL Update II: Unicode and XML Support includes enough an introduction to XML to enable a COBOL programmer to handle XML documents from COBOL programs. (This course is designed for teaching in z/OS installations.)
- Advanced CICS Web Programming includes XML, SOAP, and related topics (among others).
