  • Previous travel experience:
    • Got to meet great people from around the world who taught me so much of themselves and their culture. Brazil was my first stop and it was an amazing experience I got to see the Brazilian culture and what great people they are, then came Paris and Brest meeting more people that were enthusiastic about us going to join them and just walking through French soil was amazing I got out of my confort zone and now have amazing stories to tell my kids in the future.

What I like about Japan / Japanese culture:

I like how they're unique, they're architecture they're way of being and the society around them. It's basically just like another world. Also their food seems delicious and they just seem like kind people! As much as I know they're busy on a daily basis and it's something I like, being productive or doing something new everyday to keep the mind busy.

What I hope to get from this adventure:

I hope to come back knowing some basic japanese and have a strong bond and connection with my host family and that they remember me as I will remember them. Also to have learned so much about their norms and values! I want to remember so much about my family and how it is to live in Japan and a different perspective on what it is to live in the Unites States.
