Packing and Laundry Strategies

• Pack 14+ complete outfits - not recommended
• Pack outfits so mix-and-match gives you a fresh feel each day - recommended
• Plan on washing / drying clothes in your room
• Use hotel services
• Use local laundry / cleaning services
• Wear the same clothes for 14+ days without cleaning - please, no!

Below is a description of our trip in terms relating to laundry strategies:

• Sat Oct 5 - travel day: one outfit for the 5th and the 6th, no chance to change!
• Sun Oct 6 - travel day
• Mon Oct 7 - Tokyo, sight seeing
• Tue Oct 8 - To Takayama
• Wed Oct 9 - Takayama
• Thu Oct 10 - Takayama
• Fri Oct 11 - Takayama could use washer/dryer at pension
• Sat Oct 12 - To Kanazawa
• Sun Oct 13 - Kanazawa could use washer/dryer at hotel
• Mon Oct 14 - Kanazawa could use washer/dryer at hotel
• Tue Oct 15 - To Osaka
• Wed Oct 16 - To Mt Koya
• Thu Oct 17 - To Osaka
• Fri Oct 18 - Osaka
• Sat Oct 19 - return home; long day; one outfit
